The film begins when Brainy Indy (Kim Chiu), MVP MJ2 (Gerald Anderson), Sosy Pre (Maja Salvador), Rebel Gael (Geoff Eigenmann) and Nice Guy Nathan (Jason Abalos) are college freshmen who enter FDH University, until they all got involved in the biggest mystery the university has ever encountered- the Basketball Water Contamination Accident. Initial investigation shows that the water drank by the players during the game was contaminated by a mysterious substance. The first investigation begins with Indy, then to MJ2, Pré and Gael, when they discovered that the culprit is from the same school. Nathan, when investigated is proven the culprit. And, before being expelled from school, was saved by his friends, whom he indirectly help, as told from their story: Indy created the substance, an Anti-love potion for MJ2, who was the target of Gael when bribed by several criminals, which Pré has somewhat a relationship, and Nathan, trying to help them from their mischief and problems. After the case is closed, Nathan is not expelled and instead Nathan is in community service. But because of his popularity, attitude and honesty,all of the students helped Nathan during community service.

In the end, Miguel was able to identify those who are behind the anomaly within the military--- the father of his girlfriend Christine. This heroic act of Miguel beyond the call of duty was not left unrecognized and he was given consideration and was retained in the army. Unknowingly, Miguel was also able to give justice to his brother's death.

La Visa Loca

Like millions of Filipinos, Jess Huson--limo service driver and certified nursing aid/caregiver--has a dream: to get a visa and work in the United States. However, luck never seems to be on his side. After every interview with the ultra-strict US consul, Jess always goes home with a 'denied' stamped on his application. Meanwhile, Jess has to take care of his ageing but randy diabetic father, Mang Sancho, who spends his days watching TV and phoning into late night radio talk shows.

To make ends meet, Jess drives around his prized client, Nigel Adams, internationally famous television host for Planet Strange, a show that documents all the world's weirdness and oddities. Jess becomes Nigel's guide to the strange universe that is Pinoy culture. They go to strip clubs that refuse to serve meat on Lent, and interview a colorful array of characters, from bulletproof shamans to enterprising penitents who charge money to be crucified.

Along the way, Jess chances into an old girlfriend, Mara, who works in a carnival freak show as a sirena, a mermaid, whose authenticity is always questioned because of her bad cold (a result of being immersed in a water tank the whole day). Mara has an 8-year-old son, Jason, who may or may not be Jess' son.

Incidentally, Jess also learns that Adams has a brother who operates one of the biggest nursing aid agencies in the US East Coast. But Adams' career is already on the brink unless he finally comes up with some truly bizarre footage. Talisman-toting mystics and Santo Niño-possessed faith healers just won't do anymore. In the end, Jess commits the ultimate sacrifice--to please Nigel with all-too important footage and to achieve his dream of going to the US. And when Jess comes inches close to his dream, he is faced with one life-changing choice.

Kubrador

An ordinary meaningless existence can suddenly be challenged by the perplexing game of life, luck and death.

Amelita or Amy is an aging jueteng kubrador (bet collector). Despite the regular crackdown on the illegal numbers game, she clings to the job she has known for more than 20 years. She walks around the poverty-stricken squatter’s neighborhood collecting bets from her regular patrons everyday. Her husband Eli, who is equally aging, can only manage to help by manning their small sari-sari (variety store). Amy’s grown up children have all left home. Her eldest daughter Mona works as a domestic helper abroad. Her second daughter, Juvy, who is always pregnant, lives with her in-laws. Amy’s youngest son, Eric, a young soldier, recently died on combat duty in Mindanao.

While collecting bets three days before All Saints day, Amy is apprehended by a police officer. She joins the other kubradors in the police station until their kabo (handler) bails them out.

The following morning, Amy returns to the streets and continues her clandestined activity. She meets the parish priest, who informs her of a young neighbor’s sudden death from an accident. The priest asks her to collect abuloy (donations) from neighbors and friends.

When Amy remits her afternoon jueteng collection to her kabo, she finds him sick at home. He then asks her to attend the next jueteng draw on his behalf, Amy being a trusted ally of the jueteng network for a long time.

Amy and the other kabos await the arrival of the table manager (supervisor) of the draw in a secluded location. But when the table manager arrives, he announces that the draw is cancelled and informs everyone the winning numbers from the jueteng financier.

When Amy goes home that night, her husband Eli tells her the bad news. He failed to hand over a bet from a neighbor whose numbers, to Amy’s surprise, won the rigged draw. Pissed off, she has no choice but to go to her kabo and borrow money in order to pay out the neighbor. That night, the neighbors have lighted candles in front of their houses to welcome the feast of All Saints Day the next morning.

A mammoth crowd greets Amy and her family as they approach the cemetery. At Eric’s grave they see Glenda, Eric’s girlfriend, offering flowers and prayers for her dead boyfriend. Still pissed off with Eli, Amy leaves and wanders around the cemetery to cool off. Suddenly she hears a commotion. Two vehicles figured in a collision. The two drivers engage in a heated argument until one of them pulls out a gun and fires a shot. The bullet goes pass Amy and hits a teenage boy behind her. Amy shouts for help. Police arrive and arrest the suspect. Other bystanders help load the bloodied body of the boy in a vehicle. Still in a state of shock, Amy follows gaze as the vehicle speeds away from the crime scene.

In the process, getting down to the very core of love, life and the meaning of existence as he hovers angel-like over those he has left behind, his angst-ridden mom, played by Dina Bonnevie; a belligerent younger brother, essayed powerfully by newcomer Alwyn Uytingco; and his teenage girlfriend, Maxene Magalona.

When Cogie meets up with another wandering soul, played by Jiro Manio, who reveals to him the redemptive power of acceptance; helped along by a spirit guide, fleshed out in the movie by Paolo Ballesteros, a new dimension to humanity becomes clear to Cogie and the loved ones he has left behind, especially his family.

Ben Caballero (Aga Mulach) is an environmentalist who loves casual dating and hopping from one woman to another. Michelle Valmonte (Anne Curtis) is a marketing assistant for his father’s company who is afraid to fall in love. During one summer vacation in Boracay, the two meet.

Ben and Michelle instantly hit it off despite their apparent differences. But there’s only one condition: there is no commitment. Everything is going well and both believe that commitment isn’t needed for the love to survive. Their passion is enough to bring them together.

But an uncommitted love isn’t always too good to be true. Ben’s involvement in his NGO pushes him to come face to face with Michelle’s father, thus greatly challenging their love for each other. In the end, Michelle has to commit herself, and that means having to choose between the two men she loves the most.

King (Navarro) is the best friend of Anton (Mura), who is the son of Tony Falcon. As the two boys grow up, the differences between them is palpable. It becomes clear that although he is the smaller one, Anton is the smarter of the two. King has a visual impairment wherein he cannot see the letter "A." This becomes an impediment for his academic success. On the other hand, King is the master retriever; i.e. he can retrieve anything that's lost.

Ever since he was a child, King's idol has been his ninong Tony. He also wants to be a secret agent. Anton also wants to be an agent, but Tony is always discouraging him because he fears his son might be put in danger.

King takes up law and passes the agency's qualifying exams. In the agency, he meets Mary Grace (Mariel),another neophyte agent. She develops a crush on King, but keeps it to herself. She is convinced that he is a playboy. She decides to take the West Point training being offered to her, and leaves the country feeling bitter about King.

When she returns from her training, Mary Grace immediately becomes the #1 agent in the country. King is given three cases to solve, but he fails each and every one of them. The agency demoted him to a clerical job. He longs to be given some fieldwork, but the agency will hear none of it… until Magellan's dagger is reported stolen.

Being the top agent, Mary Grace expects the high-profile mission to be assigned to her. Thus, she is shocked when Tony Falcon pushes that King is the best agent for the mission. With the help of Anton, King nearly gets the dagger but he loses it again. Disappointed with King, Tony gets depressed and accidentally falls into a manhole. Cynthia (Pokwang), the agency head, decides to take King out of the mission.

During Tony's wake, the ghost of Tony Falcon appears to her, telling her to put King back in the mission. Cynthia decides to pair King with Mary Grace to retrieve the dagger for the final time.

Will King be able to retrieve the dagger, and will he be able to retrieve Mary Grace's love for him?
